I'M
Jacob Guedalia.
Entrepreneur is a diagnosis not a job description

Stuff I like to talk about
AI & Blockchain
The last two software stacks: cryptography and intelligence.
Consciousness & Reality
Uncertainty (physics) and incompleteness (math) implication for free willl
Penrose & Consciousness
The frame linking incompleteness, uncertainty, and AI.
Metaphysics & Jungian Psychology
Bridging unknowable with physical reality and experience.
Tai Chi & Energy
Time and movement expand physical and perceived reality
Experience
Launch
SPARK
Exits
After finishing physics at Weizmann, I teamed up with two mathematicians and we launched VDOnet.
It was the first streaming video on the internet. Microsoft made it their first Israeli startup investment.
IMPACT
From there, I built and sold four companies, three to public firms. At iSkoot, we put Skype on mobile and opened the door to the mobile internet.
After Qualcomm acquired it, I became VP and worked directly with the CEO on early smartwatch innovations. Along the way, I was granted more than 50 U.S. patents, each one moving networks and media forward.
Failure
OUCH
But not every startup worked. With The Happy Cloud, I missed the winning strategy sitting in plain sight. Espresso Messenger tried to reinvent messaging but got crushed by Slack.
Those failures cut deep. They showed me my ego was bigger than I thought. Failing sucks. I swore off startups.
Quant
INTERN
So I reset. On one side, building quantitative algorithms for Two Sigma. On the other working as an intern for a PM running $3B.
I was coding again, learning under pressure, getting blunt feedback every day.
My brother a PhD in AI, mentored me too. That combination gave me something rare, hands on experience of AI in the real world.
The Diagnosis
RETURN
But as the line goes: “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.”

Passion for entrepreneurship pulled me back. With The Robot Network I’m building infrastructure for the disruption ahead. Small language models will eclipse large ones.
At Stone Court Capital I focus on how AI can amplify private equity returns, putting innovation directly in service of capital.
PERSPECTIVE
For more than 25 years I’ve studied Jewish mysticism and philosophy, trained in Tai Chi and Daoist meditation, and read Jung deeply, especially von Franz.

“It’s a poor memory that only works backwards.” — The White Queen to Alice (Jung's synchronicity in nutshell)

Penrose is right: AI has limits, consciousness does not.
(wrote about it here)

Strive to be a first principle thinker.
(Musk is world champion)
Most important of all: I’m a father to seven children.
